Mestalla in Valencia (May 2023) and a start. “It wasn’t the first time”. Metropolitan in Madrid (September 2022). El Nuevo Zorrilla in Valladolid (December 2022). Last Moix in Mallorca (February 2023). Camp Nou in Barcelona (March 2023) and once again, official Mestalla last Sunday not forgetting the baby hanging from a bridge in Madrid on the way to the sports city of Valdebebas. Vinicius posted a long message on his Instagram account, tagging the photos in Spanish, Portuguese and English, asking, “How long will it take?” he asks. He ends with a terrific sentence: “This isn’t football, it’s inhuman.”

The Madrid striker received a visit on Monday morning from President Florentino Pérez. The first accused Spain of harboring racism, and the second used visuals to describe how it felt to play outside the Bernabéu.
