The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union, known as KDK RFU, issued a two game ban for Ufa midfielder Vladislav Adaev for rough play. The decision was published on the federation’s official site.
In the 14th round clash on October 12, Adaev was shown a red card in Ufa’s 0-3 defeat to Chernomorets. In the 26th minute he struck Ruslan Fishchenko with a straight leg to the head, and the leg impact required medical attention from the on‑site team.
Ufa sits 17th in the First League table with 11 points from 14 fixtures, while Chernomorets stands fifth with 23 points from 14 matches.
Earlier reports noted Artem Dzyuba, the Akron forward, returning from a muscle injury to feature for Zenit St. Petersburg in the twelfth round of the Russian Premier League. He left the field in the sixth minute of the match against a Saint Petersburg opponent, with Gilson Benchimol from Cape Verde coming on to replace the 36-year-old striker.
Earlier in his career Dzyuba had been widely regarded as a star in Russian football, a status his name carried across discussions and broadcasts before the latest season developments.
