“Regardless, no football discussion of celebrations or anything else surrounding a goal justifies the commission of a series of unlawful acts involving racist and xenophobic hate speech and crimes on networks, in the media, around or on a playing field. it makes this football player a victim of racism, xenophobia and intolerance,” explains the Movement Against Intolerance.
It therefore calls on the Hate Crimes Prosecutor to “intervene”. “The Penal Code explicitly forbids demonstrations for the purpose of committing crimes and punishes those who organize these demonstrations or their administrators,” he said.
The Movement Against Intolerance has also sent a letter to the Minister of State for Sport reminding that racist, xenophobic and intolerant acts are prohibited acts. It was approved by the Sports Act and calls for the adoption of “sanction measures prescribed by law” by the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance.Y”.
