Italian Enea ‘The Beast’ Bastianini (Ducati Desmosedici GO21) surprised compatriot Francesco Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Desmosedici GP22) to win. Victory at the Motorland Aragon Grand PrixMoto2 runner-up Augusto Fernández (Kalex) and Moto3 winner Izan Guevara (GasGas) boosted their lead in the provisional world rankings.
The MotoGP race started off much bumpier than you expected because before completing the first lap he had lost many of his main heroes, including the championship leader, Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha YZR M 1).
Quartararo failed to escape Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda RC 213 V) beat Italy’s Enea Bastianini and Spain’s Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia RS-GP), whose tires are still very cold. it was the worst.
Marc Márquez prevented him from continuing the race as he fell to the ground and suffered a heavy blow without the possibility of maintaining his point advantage in the championship, and Marc Márquez had his motorcycle severely damaged.
The two great heroes of the race, fabio quartararo and Marc Márquez, ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia up front and single-handedly trying to put terrain between them in his favorite races.. But Bastianini didn’t want that to happen, and although he initially had to fight South African Brad Binder (KTM RC 16) and Aleix Espargaró, he was eventually able to outrun them to go after his compatriot and brand partner.
If anything became clear with his performanceor ‘The Beast’ Bastianini is that there is no team order in Ducati. and now both are candidates to fight for the world title; the top ten points are behind the leader, and the second 48 points, with 125 points remaining to be distributed in the five big races that are still controversial at the 2022 motorcycle world championship.
From there to the end of the MotoGP race, Bastianini “flagged” Bagnaia and passed him in the right place to get his fourth win of the season, avoiding fifth in a row for the only official Ducati driver he saw. Aleix Espargaró, one of his most direct contenders in the championship, finished behind him.
