IOC President to discuss Russian acceptance with presidents of international sports federations

Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), will soon discuss the participation of Russian athletes in international competitions with the heads of international sports federations. This has been reported “Pair TV”.

“In the near future, the President of the IOC will meet online with the presidents of the international federations and, as expected, the participation of Russian athletes will be discussed at this meeting. According to Match TV source, it is possible to make some concessions at this meeting.”

Recall that at the end of February, the IOC addressed international sports federations and advised them not to allow domestic and Belarusian athletes to participate in any competitions.

After that, various sports international organizations began to exclude Russian athletes from competitions. According to the IOC President, the suspension period is still open. Also, football, hockey, skiing, volleyball and many other international major competitions have been postponed or canceled from Russia.

It was previously reported that Russian athletes banned from entering Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
