French defender Damien Le Tallec explained why he decided to return to the Russian championship after a long hiatus.

“I always watched RPL matches, I followed them closely. I know many players have left Russia but RPL will always be a good league. There are cool fans, big cities, good stadiums and infrastructure. Playing in Russia is always great. Everyone has their own opinion and personal life. I love Russia, I love being here. That’s why I wanted to come back”, – quoting Le Tallec “Championship”.

Le Tallec was born in France and played for the youth and youth teams of this country. In the fall of 2020, he received Russian citizenship.
