Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk says he plans to fight British Tyson Fury after defeating Anthony Joshua for the WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles.

“He is not retired and wants to fight me. My team will work on this issue. I want to fight him. “If I don’t fight Tyson Fury, I won’t fight anyone.”

The fight between Usyk and Joshua lasted 12 rounds. The Ukrainian won by split decision (113:115, 115:113, 116:112) and retained the heavyweight championship belts.

Former British boxer Tyson Fury announced about the end of a career.

On April 24, the World Boxing Council (WBC) world heavyweight champion defeated compatriot Dillian Whyte in the main fight of a boxing evening at London’s Wembley Stadium. For this fight, the athletes earned $41 million for two.

Up to this point, Fury ruled out the possibility of a duel with Usyk.

“This will never happen because I am retired. But if this fight happened, I’d take him around the ring. After all, he’s just a middleweight that garners the masses,” Fury said.

Fury, 33, has won 32 victories in 33 games in his professional career and successfully defended the WBC title twice in a row. Another match ended in a draw.
