Monaco football player Alexander Golovin was recognized as the best Russian football player according to Football magazine. This was reported by “Soviet sport”.
According to the voting results, Golovin received 438 points. He received this award for the first time in his career. Zenit St. Petersburg took second place in the survey. Petersburg football player Maxim Glushenkov received it. Dinamo Moscow’s forward Konstantin Tyukavin took third place.

On 4 October, Golovin extended his contract with Monaco. According to his new employment contract, he will represent the team until the end of the 2028/29 season. The club’s previous contract was valid until the summer of 2026.
