Former head coach of Spartak Moscow, Guillermo Abascal, admitted that he wants to return to Russia and work with Russian teams again. His words lead the way TASS.

“Nowhere have I worked so well, nowhere have I felt so comfortable, including from a professional point of view, as in Moscow. “I would like to go back, maybe it will work,” he said.

On April 14, 2024, Abascal was fired from his position as head coach of Spartak, which he had been heading since the summer of 2022. After the restart of the 2023/24 season, the team under his leadership was able to achieve only one win in five matches in the Russian Premier League. As a result, Spartak finished fifth last season.

In Moscow, the specialist married his chosen one, and the couple named their child Nikolai.
