At CES 2025, German Bionic introduced a new exoskeleton called Apogee Ultra. This exoskeleton is designed to alleviate heavy physical labor by supporting users during heavy lifting and long walks.
Apogee Ultra can lift loads of up to 36 kg, significantly reducing the strain on the back and joints. For example, a load of 36 kg feels like 4-5 kg. With enhanced walking support, Apogee Ultra significantly reduces fatigue. A long ride of 16 km feels like 13 km, in addition, the device adapts to the user’s individual movement style and can record training data.
The device is equipped with a capacious and compact battery, which not only reduces the weight of the exoskeleton itself, but also extends its operation. Moreover, it can be useful not only for workers, but also for people with disabilities or the elderly who need extra physical support in everyday life.
The cost of the device has not yet been revealed, but it is already available for purchase on the German Bionic website.
