Mostovoy: I wouldn’t be surprised if Khimki gets points from Lokomotiv 20:41

Former Spartak Moscow football player Alexander Mostovoy told the socialbites.ca reporter that he would not be surprised if the Moscow regional team Khimki gets points from Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League (RPL) match.

“We must not forget that yesterday Lokomotiv lost to Dinamo Moscow in the cup. “Khimki” had already beaten “Lokomotiv” this season. Khimki is a normal team in terms of recruiting players, but something is missing. It is difficult to predict their matches. “Lokomotiv” is a slight favorite, but it will not be a surprise to me if “Lokomotiv” does not win,” Mostovoy said.

The meeting between Lokomotiv and Khimki will take place on December 1. The teams will take to the field at 14.00 Moscow time.

Leading the national championship standings is St. Louis, who has won the last six races of the RPL. Zenit from St. Petersburg is in first place with 39 points, one point ahead of Krasnodar, after defeating Orenburg in the round of 16. Lokomotiv is in the top three in the rankings with 34 points. Moscow’s Spartak and the capital’s Dynamo have 31 points each. Khimki is in 13th place with 13 points.

Former Spartak player Valery Gladilin statedI think Khimki can beat Lokomotiv.
