Russian football referee passed away at the age of 28 13:50

Russian referee Emir Privalov passed away at the age of 28. Information about this appeared at: official website Russian Football Union (RFU).

“Emir left behind a wife and two children. The Russian Football Union offers its sincere condolences to the judge’s family and will provide financial support and assistance in organizing the funeral,” the RFU said in a statement.

Privalov started his refereeing career in 2016 and started to take part in Second League matches starting from the 2021/22 season.

In August 2024, he was appointed as the chief referee of the Russian Cup match between Omsk Irtysh and Chelyabinsk.

On 16 October, Privalov worked as a reserve referee in the fifth round match of the Russian Cup zones between Sochi and Ulyanovsk Volga, which ended in a 2:0 victory for the Sochi club. Privalov also appeared as a reserve referee in several First League matches. He also served as a reserve referee in the friendly match between the Brunei national team and Krasnodar-2.
