The meeting of the Moscow Nikulinsky Court in the case of the division of jointly acquired property of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper and Russian national football team Matvey Safonov and his ex-wife Anastasia has been postponed. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the source, the hearing in this case is scheduled for December 20. The hearings had been postponed several times before.
On August 26, the Moscow City Court approved the decision of the Nikulinsky Court, according to which Safonov had to pay his ex-wife 60 million rubles, which he owed alimony for their joint daughter. The goalkeeper must pay 25 percent of his salary every month. Safonov’s lawyers plan to appeal this decision.
PSG bought Safonov from Krasnodar for 20 million euros in the off-season and his contract with the French champions runs until the end of the 2028/29 season. On 26 November, the goalkeeper was included in the Paris team’s starting lineup for the Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The match ended with a score of 0:1, but Safonov accepted Highest Flashscore score among the team’s players after the match.
