The reason for Spartak’s defeat in the Russian Cup match with Rostov has been revealed 08:50

Sergei Balakhnin, the former coach of the Russian national team, stated that it did not surprise him that Spartak Moscow lost to Rostov in the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup RPL Path, and noted that the red-white coach Dejan Stankovic also scored a goal. A mistake was made when selecting the squad for the match. His words guide the way “Euro-Football.Ru”.

“Stankovic used a wide rotation to give the leaders the opportunity to rest. However, they had to be released in the second half. Then the team’s game changed. The difference between the two halves was huge. Therefore, I think that the coaching staff of the Muscovites made a mistake when choosing the match lineup,” Balakhnin said.

The match, which took place at the Rostov Arena stadium, ended with the home team leading 2:1. The first match ended with Rostov leading 1:0. Thus, by the sum of two meetings, the Muscovites fell into the Regional Path of the Country Cup, and Rostov will continue to compete on the RPL path.

In the next match of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League, Spartak will face Krasnodar away. The meeting will take place on December 1 and will start at 19.30 Moscow time. On November 30, Rostov will play at home against Paris NN, the starting whistle will blow at 19:00 Moscow time.
