Barcelona missed the victory in the match against Celta Vigo in the 14th round of the Spanish Championship.
The match, which took place at the Balaidos stadium in the city of Vigo, ended with a score of 2-2. While Brazilian striker Rafinha opened the scoring in the 16th minute, the Catalans doubled the difference with Pole Robert Lewandowski in the 61st minute. In the 82nd minute, 21-year-old midfielder Mark Casado received a red card and Celta took advantage of this chance. While Alfonso Gonzalez reduced the difference in the 84th minute, Hugo Alvarez earned a point for the home team in the 86th minute.
Barcelona continues to lead the Spanish Championship standings with 34 points from 14 matches. Its closest follower, Real Madrid, has 29 points. Celta is in 11th place with 18 points.
In the next match of the national championship, Barcelona will play at home against Las Palmas. The match will be played on November 30 and the starting whistle will blow at 16:00 Moscow time. Celta will play away against Krasnodar – this match will also be played on November 30, but will kick off at 20:30 Moscow time.
