Al-Nasr’s Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo opened the score in the 32nd minute with a pass from Mohamed Simakan. The opponents equalized five minutes later with a goal from Julián Quiñones. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winning goal in this match.
Ivanov showed four yellow cards during the match.
Another Russian referee, Sergei Karasev, served in the Al-Nasr match on September 14, 2024.
For Al-Nasr, this defeat was the first in the Saudi championship season; the team won six and drew four times. The club is in third place with 22 points. Al-Qadisiya won its fourth match in a row.
