Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat Serbian Novak Djokovic arrangement Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
Medvedev finished his performance at the Masters in Paris in the second round, and Djokovic missed the tournament, losing 1000 points. Djokovic currently sits fifth in the rankings.
Andrey Rublev dropped from seventh to ninth, while Karen Khachanov rose from 21st to 19th.
The leader in the ranking is Italian Jannik Sinner, while Alexander Zverev from Germany takes the second place, and Carlos Alcaraz is in the top three.
In the second round of the Paris Masters, Medvedev lost to Alexei Popyrin from Australia. The match, which lasted 2 hours and 33 minutes, ended with the score of 4:6, 6:2, 6:7 (4:7). During the match, Medvedev served 11 times, made 14 double faults and converted four out of 13 break points. Popyrin made five aces, two double faults and converted three out of ten break points.
