BenQ has announced two professional monitors, the 5K PD2730S and 4K PD3226G, aimed at graphic designers and content creators.
The 5K (5120 x 2880 pixels) PD2730S monitor offers high color accuracy with Delta E ≤ 2 and 100% coverage of sRGB and Rec.709 color spaces. The model is equipped with an IPS matrix with a brightness of 400 cd/m² and a frequency of 60 Hz, as well as support for HDR10 and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, making it an ideal choice for designers working on Mac and Windows platforms. In addition, the model supports Thunderbolt 4, making it easy to connect and manage multiple devices.
The 4K PD3226G, on the other hand, features a high refresh rate of 144 Hz with a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and a brightness of 400 cd/m², making it suitable for game developers and 3D graphics professionals. It also provides 100% coverage of sRGB and Rec.709 color spaces with Delta E ≤ 2, ensuring high-quality color reproduction. Both monitors have technologies that allow you to configure different color profiles, including DCI-P3, HDR and others.
The new monitors are designed with input from professionals to deliver accurate and consistent color performance, crucial for creative work. Visitors to Adobe MAX 2024 will be the first to experience the new monitors and their capabilities. The cost of the new products, as well as the start date of sales, have not yet been announced.
