Agent Alexey Safonov, who represents the interests of Dynamo Moscow forward Konstantin Tyukavin, explained why the striker’s transfer to Zenit failed. This was reported by sports.ru.
“The main reason is Kostya’s reluctance. I saw that you didn’t want to go to Zenit. Tyukavin has been at the club since he was five years old, this is his home. If he was at Zenit, he would get one and a half times more, but Kostya is a Dynamo patriot,” said Safonov.
22-year-old Tyukavin scored 4 goals and made 2 assists in 13 matches in the 2024/25 season.
Transfermarkt portal estimates the Russian’s market value at 16 million euros.
The last six races of the Russian Championship will be played by Zenit St. It was won by St. Petersburg. 11 rounds were played this season and Krasnodar became the leader with 27 points.
