AMD plans to unveil its new Radeon RX 7650 GRE graphics card at CES 2025, which takes place from January 7 to 10. This could be the last update to the RDNA 3 family before the launch of the new RDNA 4 line, expected in the first quarter of 2025.
Insiders indicate that the RX 7650 GRE will fill a niche between the existing RX 7600 and RX 7700 XT. Although the exact technical specifications have not yet been announced, it is believed that the new product will be based on a stripped-down Navi 32 graphics processor with a number of computing units from 32 to 54 and GDDR6 video memory from 10 to 12 GB.
It is notable that the RX 7650 GRE is being released as part of the Golden Rabbit Edition (GRE) line, which is initially aimed at the Chinese market. However, experience with previous models shows that these maps may later appear in other regions, including the US, EU and CIS countries.
The price range of the new video card will most likely remain around $300 (about 29,000 rubles), which is consistent with the current offering of the RX 7600 series.
