On October 10, ASUS will present a line of motherboards for the new generation of Intel processors, timed to coincide with the expected presentation of Intel Arrow Lake desktop processors. According to available information, ASUS will show at least eight models on this day, including the Prime, ROG Strix and ROG Maximus series. One of the teasers hinted at ‘new artificial intelligence capabilities’, confirming the presence of built-in AI features in the new boards.
Notably, some ASUS Z890 motherboard models have already appeared at retailers such as HSSL in the US. Among them is the flagship ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme board with a price tag of $1,111.87 (about 107,000 rubles), which is $100 more than the previous Z790 Extreme. The more affordable model Z890 Max Gaming WiFi 7 costs about $268 (about 26,000 rubles).
ASUS teasers also mention Wi-Fi 7 and advanced AI capabilities, making these boards especially attractive to enthusiasts. Intel has not yet officially announced a date for the presentation of the processors, but rumors point to October 10 as the day on which five overclockable Arrow Lake processors will be announced.
