Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua suffered its first major defeat under the leadership of Russian specialist Leonid Slutsky.
They lost the Asian Champions League group stage 2nd round match to Malaysian Johor Darul Tazim 0-3.
Midfielder Arif Ayman scored the first goal in this match in the 11th minute. Striker Jorge Obregon doubled the home side’s lead in the 26th minute. The final score of the match was determined by midfielder Juan Muñiz in the 80th minute.
After two matches played, Shanghai Shenhua is in fifth place in the East region with three points. Johor Darul Ta’zim is in second place with 4 points.
