Artem Dzyuba, the 36-year-old striker of Tolyatti Akron, a graduate of Moscow Spartak, could still be useful for the red-whites. This is an opinion expressed in a comment to the portal Legal betting – said by former Muscovite and forward of the Russian national team Ari.
“Dziuba is an excellent forward. He is a very strong and quality forward. Of course I remember him, we played together at Spartak. It’s great that he is still playing. It means Artem is in good shape. He can probably be useful for Spartak too,” Ari said.
Dzyuba left Lokomotiv Moscow after the end of last season. The 35-year-old forward played 26 matches in all competitions in the 2023/24 season, scoring 4 goals and making 4 assists. At the end of the season, Lokomotiv finished in fourth place in the Russian Premier League (RPL) with 53 points.
Akron is a debutant in the RPL. After eight rounds, the team is in 11th place with eight points. The Tolyatti club announced the signing of Dziuba on the last day of the summer transfer period. The forward made his debut for the team in the eighth round match against Khimki (3:0) and made an assist.
Former Dziuba manager Goldman recommended for the football player to regain playing tone as soon as possible.
