American forward Alexander Khmelevsky has transferred from San Jose Sharks to Salavat Yulaev. This was reported on social networks by the press service of the Ufa club.

The contract between Salavat and Khmelevsky is for one season.

In the final season of the National Hockey League (NHL), the American attended 19 meetings, where he managed to get eight assists. In the American Hockey League (AHL), Khmelevsky scored 12 goals and provided 15 assists in 37 games.

In the final draw of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), Salavat Yulaev took third place in the Eastern Conference after the results of the regular season. In the Gagarin Cup playoffs, Ufa reached the second round, losing to Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Earlier, hockey agent Gleb Chistyakov, who represented the interests of forward Dmitry Yashkin, announced a player from the Arizona Coyotes to St. Reasons for his transfer to St. Petersburg SKA.
