CSKA defender Igor Diveev was amazed by the skill level of French Monaco’s Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin. His words are a guide “Match TV”.
“When you come to the national team and see how Golovin starts to work with the ball, you understand that this is a level. How quickly he does it! “You want to take him away, but you don’t have time,” Diveev said.
Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin has played for Monaco since 2018. The Russian has played in 27 matches for the Monegasques in the 2023/24 season, scoring six goals and making six assists. Golovin’s contract with Monaco expires on 30 June 2026.
At the end of the season, the princely team became vice-champions of France and booked a place in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the 2024/25 season. Monaco last won Ligue 1 in 2017, when Golovin played for CSKA Moscow.
