It became clear who could become the new sports director of Orenburg instead of Dmitry Andreev, who left his post and was disqualified. One of the options is the club’s vice-president Igor Degtyarev. This is reported by “Sports Express”.
“The final decision has not been made yet. The issue is at the stage of study and elaboration,” said Orenburg Mayor Vasily Eremyakin.
Let us remind that Andreev accused the referees of the match “Rostov” – “Orenburg” (3:2) of being biased and helping the Rostovites, using obscene language.
The Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) sentenced Andreev to a fine of 300 thousand rubles and a ban on football activities for three years, including a two-year suspension. In this regard, the sports director of Orenburg was fired from the club.
According to Andreev, he accepted the information about his suspension and subsequent dismissal “absolutely calmly.”
