UFC Champion Makhachev on Israel’s bombing of Palestine: You will be held accountable for everything 30.08.2024, 23:10

Russian fighter Islam Makhachev, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, said on his social networks that Israel will be responsible for the bombing of Palestinian cities.

“I swear to God that there will be a trial – and you, scum, will give an account of everything,” Makhachev wrote.

On the night of June 2, Makhachev defeated Dustin Poirier. The fight ended with an early victory for the 32-year-old Russian fighter by technical knockout in the fifth round after a guillotine technique, forcing Poirier to submit. As a result of the fight, Makhachev defended his UFC lightweight title.

For Makhachev, who is ranked first among all fighters, this victory was his 26th in 27 fights in his professional career. Poirier lost his ninth of 40 fights.
