Former Lokomotiv footballer Alexander Aliyev could face up to 12 years in prison for publicly calling for the killing of civilians in Kursk, lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky said. His words are a guide “Match TV”.
“This is Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – up to 12 years in prison for calling for terrorist activities and massacre. I am sure that a criminal case will be opened against him,” Dobrovinsky said.
The football player was transferred from Dynamo Kiev to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2010. For the railway workers, the Khabarovsk native played 27 matches, scoring 15 goals and 5 assists in these matches.
He also played for Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia. The Ukrainian player appeared in 22 matches from 2014 to 2015, scoring 4 goals and making 6 assists.
Aliyev appeared in 28 matches for the Ukrainian national team, scoring six goals and five assists in those matches.
