Russia’s best tennis player fails to clear second round barrier at US Open 08:36

Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina failed to advance to the third round of the US Open, losing to American representative Python Stearns in her second round match.

The match, which lasted 1 hour and 23 minutes, ended in two sets with scores of 1:6 and 6:7 (3). During the meeting, Kasatkina served seven times, made eight double faults and converted three of six break points. Stearns had six aces, three double faults and five of six break points.
