Zenit Chairman Alexander Medvedev said that the decision on the transfer of Spartak striker Alexander Sobolev will be made tomorrow, August 29. His words are a guide “Match TV”.

“The verdict on Alexander Sobolev will be announced tomorrow. You will also find out what will happen tomorrow,” Medvedev said.

Sobolev was removed from Spartak’s starting lineup after the first round match of the current Russian Premier League against Orenburg (0:2). According to media reports, he told head coach Dejan Stankovic that he wanted to leave. Since then, the forward has not appeared on the field.

The forward has been playing for Spartak since 2020. In total, he played 139 matches for the team, scored 58 goals and made 32 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026. In the completed season of the Russian Championship, Sobolev played 27 matches and scored five goals.
