On July 20, the next issue of the talk show “There is a theme” was broadcast on Match TV, where the guests of the studio discussed the interview of tennis players Andrei Rublev and Daria Kasatkina with blogger Vita Kravchenko. Athletes in it noted that they do not exclude the change of sports citizenship in connection with the exclusion of Russia from international competitions.
However, Kasatkina made a debut and announced that she was having an affair with a girl.
Journalist Sofya Tartakova, who works as a manager with tennis players, harshly criticized the talk show and its host after the broadcast of the program.
“Anton Anisimov is a bad presenter. And “There’s a theme” is a freak show for speechless lawmakers, pseudo-experts, and five-minute fame seekers.
From the moment it was founded, my players were like crap for a full hour on the air of the channel I was working on. Daria Kasatkina and Andrey Rublev.
I’m that “anonymous PR agent” Anton. Nobody is afraid of you. Because you are so small and weak. You have nothing to do with sports. I didn’t come to your program because I was careful about television hygiene. I despise participating in this nonsense, ”wrote Tartakova.
According to him, after the publication of this broadcast, the channel management lost the opportunity to make exclusive stories with the best tennis players on the planet.
“Congratulations” to my local TV channel. Well, was it worth it? I asked the management to protect the athletes and warned them of the possible consequences. I was not heard. I want to apologize to the guys who were hurt and offended by this program. “There is a theme” has nothing to do with the precious sports journalists and the program “Everything for the Match”.
As an employee of Match TV, I ask my colleagues to change their minds and not join this horror. Is this how you see your work? So you want to talk about sports? Leave this swamp with your inhabitants. Let them wander on their own.
It hurts and saddens me that strangers and strangers for a program spoil everything I’ve built since I was 17. Match TV, you let me down. And most importantly, Andrey and Dasha. I love you very much. And I am proud. Sorry for not recording. I’m so embarrassed and hurt that you broke it. But I am always by your side, ”said the journalist.
The reaction to these words from the channel management was immediate – the general producer of “Match TV” Alexander Taschin announced that Tartakova was suspended from the air indefinitely.
“Public statements like today are contrary to the concepts of company and journalistic ethics – my colleagues and I can say a lot to each other in person or in correspondence, we have different opinions about a particular TV channel product, but this is not allowed. speak publicly in this way.
We find it wrong to broadcast Sofia’s TV channel under these circumstances. Give him time to think about his expressions. Until then, Sophia will not be on the air, ”Tashchin wrote on his Telegram channel.
Gazprom-Media Deputy Director General Tina Kandelaki also expressed her solidarity with the leadership of the TV channel.
“Sasha, I fully support you. We are all creative people and we all tend to get emotional. But these feelings have a place in smoking rooms and other non-public places. It is wrong to praise some colleagues and curse others. We are all behind each other.
And if you decided otherwise, you decided to refuse to join the extended family of your comrades, ”Wrote Kandelaki on his Telegram channel.
Russia’s first racket, Daria Kasatkina, supported Tartakova on social networks.
“Sofia, you are the best and we love you. Last, the train goes no further. “Match TV”, I want to say a lot about you, but you bury yourself perfectly, ”Kasatkina said.
YouTube blogger and former commentator Vasily Utkin took the side of the journalist, promising to cover this topic in more detail in the new issue of the Football Club program.
“Sonya Tartakova is beautiful, fragile and how brave! Rays of support to you! Utkin wrote on his Telegram channel.
The practice of removing hosts is quite common on Match TV. Utkin himself was deprived of the opportunity to go back on the air in 2015 – after the commentator drunkenly studied the Champions League match between Barcelona and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
In 2020, the channel suspended Alexander Shmurnov from work – the journalist emotionally studied the game of the first round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) between Spartak and Sochi, in which he made a series of statements about the referee Vasily Kazartsev. After a while, Shmurnov nevertheless returned to work. On March 29, 2022, the commentator left Match TV.
In the fall of 2021, commentators Dmitry Shnyakin and Roman Naguchev stopped appearing on the air without explanation. According to the Kik portal, both employees received wages while remaining on the TV channel’s roster. In May, the mandatory pause ended, and Shnyakin and Naguchev returned to the air.
