“What are the emotions from the Olympics? It’s so cruel,” said Andreeva.
Fifteen athletes went to France as neutrals. Only Russian tennis players, 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva and 20-year-old Diana Schneider, managed to achieve success. They won the silver medal in doubles, losing to Italians Sara Errani and Yasmin Paolini in the final of the tournament.
