Russian gymnast posts beach photo 13:58

Russian gymnast Alexandra Soldatova shared a new photo with her subscribers on her Instagram Stories page (the owner of the Meta company is recognized as an extremist in Russia and is banned).

The athlete took a selfie on the beach. The gymnast included part of her shoulders and leg in the frame while wearing a hat.

Soldatova completed her professional career in December 2020 at the age of 22. The athlete admitted in her personal blog that she had been struggling with bulimia for two years, and that this ailment had greatly undermined her moral and mental state.

According to the gymnast, she went through hell and got out of there with great difficulty. Alexandra Soldatova stated that she did not want a sports career so that her child would not have a normal childhood and would not suffer serious injuries. On March 21, 2023, Soldatova gave birth to a boy named Nikolai.

Soldatova is a three-time world champion and a three-time European champion in rhythmic gymnastics in team competition. She won the world championship in ribbon exercises in 2018 and became the Russian champion in the individual all-around in 2016.
