The 25-year-old acrobat, born in St. Petersburg and a Master of Sports, has now completed her professional career. When asked by an Instagram follower (the owner of Meta is known as an extremist in Russia and has been banned) what qualities she considers sexiest in men, Pervova named self-confidence, a sense of humor, intelligence, attention to detail and effort.
At the end of February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) issued a call to international sports federations, recommending that Russian and Belarusian athletes should not be allowed to participate in any competitions.
The IOC Executive Committee, at its meeting on March 28, 2023, proposed allowing Russians to maintain neutral status if their athletes are not actively involved in supporting military operations. Some federations are offering Russians to sign a declaration of neutrality in order to participate in tournaments.
