Former Lokomotiv and Russian national team forward Artem Dzyuba refused to answer questions about his future and discuss whether he could be transferred to the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, coached by Leonid Slutsky. This was reported by “Sports Express”.

The correspondent of the publication tried to find out answers to these questions from Dzyuba at the charity hockey match “Match of the Year”, which was held between the teams of the Continental Hockey League and the National Hockey League.

Dzyuba left Lokomotiv Moscow after the end of last season. The 35-year-old forward played 26 matches in all competitions in the 2023/24 season, scoring 4 goals and making 4 assists. At the end of the season, Lokomotiv finished in fourth place in the Russian Premier League with 53 points.

Dzyuba moved to the Moscow club in February 2023. The forward spent several months without a team after his contract with Turkish Adana Demirspor was terminated before moving to the Moscow team. The forward is a Spartak Moscow graduate and played for the team intermittently until 2015.

Dzyuba played for the Russian national team from 2011 to 2021. The football player stopped receiving calls when Valery Karpin took over as head coach.

Former player of Orenburg named Dziub is the most inappropriate striker.
