Former Spartak Moscow player and head coach Andrei Chernyshov, who also plays for Austrian Sturm, is looking forward to the Champions League clash between Russian goalkeepers PSG’s Matvey Safonov and Sturm’s potential new player Daniil Khudyakov. He noted this in a comment Legal betting.
“We are eagerly waiting for the match between Khudyakov and Safonov in the UEFA Champions League group stage. True, they may meet earlier. Sturm and PSG have a friendly in August. I hope Khudyakov will represent Russia with honor. It will be an additional club that we will support in European competitions. “Every time a Russian player moves to a foreign club, you start worrying about him,” Chernyshov said.
The expert urged Khudyakov to learn the language and be able to communicate at least in English. He also stressed that Austrians like to hear foreigners speak German, so the actor should learn at least the basics of the German language.
Khudyakov’s previous club was Lokomotiv Moscow, but he didn’t play a single match for the team last season and left the railway workers as a free agent in the summer. According to media reports, he could continue his career at Sturm.
PSG announced Safonov’s transfer on June 14. At the same time, a week ago, it became known that the player was banned from leaving Russia due to alimony debts exceeding 60 million rubles. The goalkeeper returned to Russia with the team. Later, it became known that Safonov’s ban on leaving the country was lifted.
Insider Ivan Karpov said that Safonov managed to leave after paying part of his debt of 22 thousand rubles and the travel ban was temporarily lifted. The ban was later re-imposed, but by then the goalkeeper had already left Russia.
