The Brazilian forward of Hungarian Ferencvaros Marquinhos could continue his career at Lokomotiv Moscow. In this regard Telegram channel reporting from the inside to Ivan Karpov.
According to the source, the capital club requested the player’s transfer from Ferencvarosi. It was reported that in Hungary they expect to receive at least 5.5 million euros for the 24-year-old forward, while the railway workers plan to buy the player for 4 million euros.
It is also emphasized that until recently Lokomotiv had an unspoken rule of not spending money on foreign players. However, after Maxim Glushenkov left for Zenit, the club was faced with the need to find a quality replacement. Accordingly, it is planned to buy Marquinhos with the proceeds from Glushenkov’s sale – the amount was 6 million euros.
The source also denies rumors that this summer, Moscow Spartak, headed by former Ferencvaros coach Dejan Stankovic, is interested in the player. At the same time, the capital’s Dynamo is watching the player, but does not enter into negotiations, as the club has other priorities in the transfer market.
