Former Zenit and Spartak player described Sobolev’s upcoming transfer in one word 00:49

Former famous domestic football player Maxim Demenko, who played for both Zenit and Spartak during his career, spoke to socialbites.ca about the upcoming transfer of forward Alexander Sobolev from the Moscow club to the St. Petersburg club.

“When I first learned about this transfer, it was incomprehensible to me. Zenit can find a player for the initially announced 20 million euros, then they reduced it to 12 million. But you can still get to this figure to solve the problems. Then there was information that Sergeev was loaned to Spartak and exchanged. Zenit pays less for the transfer, and in Spartak Sergeev is given more money. It would seem that Sobolev receives 1.6 million euros, but this will be 3.2 million euros, that is, twice as much. But for me this is an incomprehensible transfer. I have a very good attitude towards Sobolev, because he always fought for the Moscow “Spartak”, he joined from the inside, as if he was a student. This is incomprehensible to me,” Demenko said.

Sobolev, 27, spent four and a half seasons at Spartak Moscow, the latter scoring five goals and making six assists in 27 appearances in the Russian Premier League.

Previously Zenith loss “Red Star Star”.
