“Spartak” surprises me now. There was talk that Promes would be returned. It seems to me that he should play for FC Prison and he will also play for FC Spartak, but these are risks. A criminal should be in prison, and Promes is a criminal, everyone knows that. And the leadership of the capital’s team assumes all existing risks,” Guberniev said.

Information that Promes will return to Russia, seen June 24.

On February 14, an Amsterdam court sentenced Promes to six years in prison for cocaine trafficking. The Dutchman was placed on the international wanted list on 16 February. He was also sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for stabbing his cousin during a family party.

On March 13, Promes was arrested in the UAE in connection with a traffic accident. He fled the scene after colliding with the bus. Before this, he was under house arrest. On 17 May, Promes was released from custody in Dubai.
