Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev advanced to the third round at Roland Garros.
In the second round match, Medvedev faced Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic. With scores of 6:1 and 5:0, Kecmanovic refused to play further due to physical problems.

Medvedev, 28, is ranked fifth in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings and is Russia’s number one player. He has 20 ATP titles to his name. Medvedev won the Davis Cup and ATP Cup as part of the Russian team in 2021. He reached the final matches of Grand Slam tournaments six times, but managed to win only once – at the US Open in 2021.
