Russian gymnast Evgenia Levanova shared archive footage from the summer of 2023 on her Instagram Stories page (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and has been banned in Russia).
In one of the photos, the athlete poses on the beach in a swimsuit, covering her chest with her hands.
Levanova became a five-time world champion, including in group exercises. She has been a member of the Russian national team since 2017. She trains under the guidance of the head coach of the Russian national team, Irina Viner, and the senior coach of the Russian national team, Tatyana Sergaeva.
Levanova started dating figure skater Maxim Kovtun since 2018. The couple announced their engagement in August 2021 and tied the knot in October 2023. Kovtun competed in men’s singles skating. She has two silver medals at the World Team Championships and the same number of European Championship trophies in single skating. He finished second at the Universiade in 2019.
The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) announced in July that athletes from Russia and Belarus will be allowed to compete in neutral status under the auspices of the organization from January 1, 2024.
