Former German national team striker Max Kruse continued his playing career after announcing his retirement from professional sports in November 2023.
The German football player appeared on the field in his fifth German league match with Berlin’s Demssimspor jersey. In the images shared by the fans who attended the match, it was seen that the 36-year-old striker came onto the field looking overweight.
Kruse ended his professional career at Paderborn, currently playing in the 2. Bundesliga. The German player played in five matches with this team in the 2023/24 season and recorded one assist.
Kruse played 14 matches with the German national team and scored 4 goals.
