American promotion UFC has presented updated ratings of athletes after last weekend’s tournament. Thus, Russian fighter Arman Tsarukyan rose to first place in the lightweight category.

The fight between Tsarukyan and Brazilian Charles Oliveira at a tournament held in Las Vegas on the night of April 14 ended with the victory of the Russian by split decision.

27-year-old Tsarukyan won 22 victories in 25 fights. He extended his winning streak to four matches. On December 3, the Russian defeated American Beneil Dariush. The fight ended in the first round. Tsarukyan knocked out his opponent. Tsarukyan made his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev in 2019 and was defeated.

American Max Holloway also moved up six spots in the UFC rankings, regardless of weight categories. He defeated Justin Gaethje in a tournament in Las Vegas. Holloway currently sits in eighth place.

Jiri Prochazka and Magomed Ankalaev are ranked second and third, respectively, in the light heavyweight division.
