“I’m from Russia, don’t”: UFC fighter on pre-fight brawl 10:05

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Russian fighter Arman Tsarukyan explained the reasons for the fight before his fight with Brazilian Charles Oliveira at the UFC 300 tournament held in Las Vegas (USA).

“He showed me his middle finger and tried to hit me, and I wanted to hit him back. I’m from Russia, please don’t do this. Otherwise, I will be thrown into an American prison,” Tsarukyan said after the fight.

The fight between Tsarukyan and Oliveira ended with the Russian winning by split decision.

27-year-old Tsarukyan won 22 victories in 25 fights. He extended his winning streak to four matches. On December 3, the Russian defeated American Beneil Dariush. The fight ended in the first round. Tsarukyan knocked out his opponent. Tsarukyan made his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev in 2019 and was defeated.

Oliveira, 34, has 34 victories and 10 defeats in MMA; another fight was ruled out.
