Russian figure skater Alena Kostornaya shared a photo from her vacation on her social networks. The girl spends time with her husband, figure skater Georgy Kunitsa.
Kostornaya worked with Eteri Tutberidze until mid-2020, then went to Plushenko. She returned to Khrustalny in the spring of 2021 on a two-month probation condition. A year later, Kostornaya left Tutberidze again, this time for Elena Buyanova.
At the beginning of 2023, Kostornaya’s former coach announced that the skater began skating in pairs. Since autumn 2022, he has been skating with Georgy Kunitsa under the guidance of Sergei Roslyakov.
In September, the couple performed together for the first time at the test skates of the Russian national team. They staged their first free program for the soundtrack of the Hunger Games movie. They finished ninth at the Russian Championships.
