Ivan Ljubicic, former coach of Swiss Roger Federer, believes that Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic’s psychological state is not very good. His words are quoted La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Novak has a psychological problem. Of course, he didn’t forget to play tennis. There must be fire in Nole, no doubt, or he’s missing something. But I believe his real goal is the French Open. It will get back to normal as we get closer to Wimbledon and the Olympic Games,” Ljubicic said.

Djokovic continues to lead the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP) rankings (9725 points). Italian Jannik Sinner (8710 points) won the tournament in Miami and rose to second place. In third place is Spanish Carlos Alcaraz (8645 points). Russian Daniil Medvedev is in fourth place with 7165 points. Another local tennis player, Andrey Rublev, ranks sixth with 4890 points.

Djokovic missed the Miami tournament in March. He explained this by saying that he wanted to spend more time with his family.
