Former Spartak player Maxim Demenko believes the support of home fans could help Krylia Sovetov take points away from Zenit. His words are quoted “European Football”.

“In the last matches Samara team seems to be unable to find the game they want and the win is very important for them. However, there will be no pressure on them at this meeting because everyone understands that Zenit is stronger. I’m sure there will be a full stadium coming to this match and support will be an important factor for Osinkin’s team. Therefore, Samara can take points from Zenit if it does not improve the game immediately and the “wings” play on counter-attacks,” said Demenko.

The meeting between KS and Zenit will take place in Samara on March 30.

After 20 weeks in the Russian Premier League (RPL), Zenit is in first place with 40 points. Krasnodar placed second, losing 1:2 to Rostov. There is a one point difference between us and Zenit. Dinamo (38 points) is in the top three. “KS” is in eighth place.

The 22nd round of RPL starts on March 29. Dynamo Moscow will host Rostov.

Previously “KS” trolled Zenit released a video about the gauchos before the head-to-head match.
