Washington Capitals’ Russian forward and captain Alexander Ovechkin admitted that he did not want to end the season with the end of the regular season and touched upon the team’s play-off struggle in the National Hockey League (NHL). His words are quoted by the capital’s press service.

“You see how we are playing now, everyone is confident, everyone understands the situation. That’s why we compete all season long, starting from training camp. “I don’t want to end the season in two weeks, I want to continue playing,” he said.
