Russian forward and Washington Capitals’ captain Alexander Ovechkin briefly evaluated his goal streak after the regular season match against the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). His words were quoted by journalist Tariq Al-Bashir on the social network X.

In the match against the Winnipeg Jets, which resulted in a 3-0 victory for the capital, Ovechkin scored a double goal, scoring his 25th and 26th goals of the season.
