The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (NOC) demanded that Russian and Belarusian tennis players be banned from competing in pairs at the 2024 Summer Olympics, and the relevant statement was published on the organization’s official website.

“The public perception that pairs of Russian or Belarusian tennis players compete against other pairs on the basis of nationality inevitably indicates that they represent their countries. “This is fundamentally contrary to the broader approach agreed by the IOC and IPC.”

6 March, International Tennis Federation (ITF) official website reportedHe decided to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to compete under neutral status at the Olympic Games in Paris. Athletes will have the opportunity to take part in singles.

Russians and Belarusians will be able to compete in the 2024 Olympics if they comply with the neutral athlete principles previously formulated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The Paris Olympic Games will start at the end of July 2024.

Previously Novak Djokovic named Daniil Medvedev as the Crocodile.
